LIVING IN PRONSTORF
Living in harmony with nature
The idyllic village with scarcely 100 inhabitants is dominated by Gut Pronstorf and surrounded by fertile fields, lush meadows, magnificent forests, gently rolling hills and the adjacent Wardersee (lake). It is an oasis of peace and quiet in today’s hectic world – an atmosphere with a glimpse of days gone by.
The buildings belonging to the estate, which once served agricultural purposes or provided accommodation for the estate’s numerous employees, today offer modern living in a special atmosphere.
Properties which once served as the estate manager’s lodge, Meierei (dairy), clerk’s apartment, official building, coachman’s cottage, milking shed, old post office, nursery, forester’s house and sheepfold have now been converted into attractive luxury flats while preserving the charm of the past. The resulting contemporary residential properties are hugely popular. ■
A rural idyll offering excellent quality of life
This is a perfect place to raise children. The neighbouring village of Goldenbek has a kindergarten with a forest kindergarten group and a primary school. There is an additional kindergarten in the village of Strenglin, which is 3 km away. Sunday services are held at the beautiful Vicelin stone church. A children’s service is held for youngsters at the vicarage on the first Sunday of every month. The many evening concerts at the church are very popular and attract a broad audience. ■
